How to Have Beautiful and Healthy Hair

We all Want to Have Thick, Healthy and Beautiful Hair.

Beautiful and Healthy Hair - Nutrition experts agree that lack of certain nutrients is the cause of dry, brittle and dull hair, and in some cases of hair loss. They pay particular attention to the hair problems caused by strict diets with greatly reduced energy imports, and those with certain foods off the menu. Essential nutrients for healthy hair are: vitamin A (beta-carotene), group B vitamins, biotin, vitamin C, iron, zinc, protein and water.

Vitamin A is involved in the growth of cells and tissues, including hair and scalp. Foods rich in vitamin A are: liver, carrots, spinach, pumpkin, melon, apricots, red peppers, dairy products, eggs, and fish.

Lack of B vitamins reduces the supply of blood and hair with oxygen, which leads to hair damage, hair loss and slow growth. Their main source is whole grains.

Vitamin C is an essential factor for the development of collagen. Its absence, most often in regular smokers, make the hair brittle and blooming, and the skin loses its elasticity. Rich in vitamin C are kiwi, red peppers, citrus fruits, berries, rosehips, spinach, nettle, parsley, green onions, tomatoes … This vitamin is a powerful antioxidant – binds and neutralizes free oxygen radicals that cause premature aging. It is interesting that its sufficient imports reduce problems with orange skin.

People who get enough protein, do not suffer from the vitamin biotin deficiency (vitamin H called – from the German word “Haut”, which means “skin”), but vegetarianism could lead to its shortage.

Foods rich in biotin are egg yolk, liver, soy, nuts, sunflower seeds, mushrooms, wheat germ, legumes, broccoli, spinach, cabbage, and beetroot. Seborrhea (dandruff) is associated with lack of vitamin H. The skin becomes dry and flaky; the hair – damaged and without gloss, nails – fragile. Proteins are necessary for all body cells, including those that relate to hair growth. Without adequate intake the body cannot restore lost hair.

Iron is a trace mineral whose main function is to transport oxygen throughout the body, which is made by hemoglobin in red blood cells. The absence of iron leads to anemia suffered by all cells and tissues, including hair.

According to the American Dietetic Association the lack of zinc brings serious problems to people who keep low-calorie diets, especially among young women. Dandruff and hair loss are related to the lack of this nutrient. It is important for tissue growth and recovery, and for maintenance of the sebaceous glands of the hair follicle. Zinc-rich foods are eggs, meat, and seafood.

Healthy and beautiful hair requires a balanced diet (regular consumption of cereals, fruits, and vegetables), various diets (diet must be not only a source of energy but also a source of enjoyment), a moderate intake of sugary foods, salt and alcohol, giving up smoking and releasing stress through regular movement, fresh air and sleep.

Hair does not like direct exposure to the scorching sun in summer or hot and dry air. Therefore, use a hat or umbrella on the beach and wrapping his head with a towel in the sauna.
